Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We here at Dorsett Chapel are so excited about what God is doing and is going to do in and through you. We are thankful to God that your steps were directed here and we are looking forward to walking in this new covenant relationship. At Dorsett Chapel, we take covenant relationships serious. When we speak of covenant relationships, we speak of "a perfect commitment to an imperfect person." For God so loved an imperfect world, that he gave a perfect sacrifice, his son Jesus Christ, that whosoever should believe in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). We are "covenant keepers," both recipients and givers of the unconditional love of Christ. Our desire is to be totally surrendered in our upward relationship with Christ and equally expressive outward to our neighbor. Yes, we love God, but we also love God's people "And thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, with all thy strength; this is the first commandment. And the second is, thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. (Mark 12:30-31). Our goal is simple to continually grow in our love for God and in our love for others. We welcome you, fellow covenant keeper, to join us in the furtherance of more intimate interactions with God and others as new members of Dorsett Chapel. Our prayer is, "that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:17-19). We love you, we're glad you're here, and we look forward to the expression of the Godhead which flows out of you!
